Java support is no longer automatically installed in Microsoft Windows or Internet Explorer as of January 2004.  This is due to an agreement between Sun Microsystems and Microsoft.  Sun Microsystems, the original developer of Java, provides a Windows and Internet Explorer compatible version of Java, which can be found on their website. 

Many sites use Java on their web pages, just like we do.  You do not necessarily need Java to view our site and galleries, but our site is BEST viewed with the Java Virtual Machine installed.  We use Java Virtual Machine to help clients more quickly view our galleries, demonstrate visual effects and more.
